Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actress. Her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and in the tv series Angela's eye Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most well-known work. She gained fame for the roles she portrayed in the drama series Rectify. A native of Gulf Breeze She began her professional career with soap opera All My Children. In recognition of her exceptional performance that she received the Soap Opera Digest Award. Her roles were mostly as guest actors for several years in TV series. She earned appreciation for her role of Dr. Erin Jameson in the television series Hawthorne. Her dazzling looks, combined with her incredible acting ability led to a gradual growth of a fanbase. In the year 2000, she made her acting debut in the film Campfire Stones. Her other roles in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. She earned a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her part in the film Beautiful Now'. Her most recent work in TV has been in the leading part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. Spencer is receiving positive feedback from critics for her role in the sci-fi show Timeless. Spencer received nominations for an award called the Teen Choice Award.

She is well-known for her work on the sitcoms Cougar Town, Ground Floor, Undateable, Love, Great News, and B Positive.    Early life and education  Heelan was born in Andover (Massachusetts) to Kimball Heelan, actress and Lowell Public Schools teacher, and Kevin Heelan playwright. Conor is her elder brother. The father of Heelan was a dramatic actor as well as a teacher at Phillips Andover Academy.
